Wonder Woman joins Fortnite along with Wonder Woman Cup

The lasso wielding super hero crosses over into the battle royale

The three core members of the Justice League are now in the battle royale as Wonder Women arrives to the Fortnite item shop this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET. The lasso wielding Detective Comics’ superhero will be available for purchase along with her Outfit set. This includes her normal Outfit with an armored variant, the Golden Eagle Wings Glider, Athena’s Battleaxe, two variants of Diana’s Mantle Back Bling and the DC Trinity Loading Screen. Based off of previously released crossover cosmetics, the Wonder Woman Outfit will likely cost around 1,500 V-Bucks. The entire bundle may go for 2,000.

Players, and their duo partner, have the chance to earn the Wonder Woman Outfit and Back Bling before the rest of the player base on Wednesday by placing at the top of the Wonder Woman Cup. Any participating teams that garner at least eight points will earn an Honorary Amazons Loading Screen.

Players must compete in up to 10 matches over three hours and earn as many points as possible. The top performing team from each region will earn the rewards. The start time for each specific region is in the Compete tab in-game. Players must be level 30 or above and have two-factor authentication enabled to compete.

The point spread is the stock standard spread for all Fortnite cups; one point for each elimination with points, ranging from one for placing 45th and 50th to 42 for a Victory Royale. The rules for the competition to earn the Amazonia-themed cosmetics can be found on Epic Games’ website.

This cosmetic line is the continuation of DC’s crossover with Fortnite, which began in May of 2020 with the introduction of Batman and, subsequently, Superman.
