Crowd Pleasers is a roster formed around North American players Carlos “Cratos” Ayala, Oliver “FilthyG” Gerlach, Ayden “Suspector” Hill and “PorkyJ.” The team of four joined Crowd Pleasers in November of 2021 to start the Halo Infinite season. Under the amateur organization, the team placed top 12 at back-to-back HCS North American Open tournaments.

Before Halo Infinite’s release, the four played together during a brief FACEIT tournament for Halo 3 where they placed third overall. Now the team will compete together under a new organization ahead of the HCS season. Crowd Pleasers’ first match under XSET will be during the HCS Kickoff Qualifier for NA. XSETs current roster are all veterans who have been competing in the esport for the last decade across several different Halo titles. While the team may not be the youngest in the league, what they do have is years of in-game knowledge and experience to bring to their team.

XSET and more hop into Halo Infinite

More organizations are entering the Halo space as the days tick down to the first HCS LAN event in Raleigh, North Carolina. The first LAN became known as the largest in Halo history with over 400 teams signing up to compete in the open bracket. This is outside the nine franchised teams that will be opening the HCS league, which include big name organizations like FaZe Clan, Sentinels, Cloud9 and OpTic.

On top of signing a new roster from the former Crowd Pleasers team, XSET has also signed Brizzy as the coach of their Halo Infinite team. Not much is known about Brizzy as he just recently made his Twitter account and does not seem to have played professionally in any title.

“Grateful is an understatement,” said Brizzy on Twitter. “Excited to represent @XSET. Hope y’all rocking with us this season.”
