Since its introduction in Call of Duty: Warzone, the PPSh-41 submachine gun has been one of the best options in the class. It features great damage range, low recoil and a decent fire rate. However, even with these attributes, it’s never been considered the absolute best choice among the SMG category. At the tail end of Season 5, that is still true, as there are slightly better loadout options. Although, this doesn’t mean its top loadout isn’t viable.

The PPSh-41 is arguably more user-friendly than other weapons considered above it in the meta. Its iron sights and easy handling make it a terrific gun for new and veteran players alike to have success with. Of course, those players need to know what loadout to equip first.

Best PPSh-41 loadout in Warzone

While the recommended PPSh-41 loadout in Warzone is fantastic in Season 5, players should also consider the fact that Call of Duty: Vanguard is right around the corner. The PPSh is a classic World War II weapon, the time period Vanguard takes place in. As such, using a World War II weapon before Vanguard comes out is probably good practice.

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 15.7″ Task Force
  • Ammunition: 55 Rnd Drum
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: Spetsnaz PKM Stock

The loadout begins with a couple of attachments to bolster damage range, recoil control and bullet velocity. The GRU Suppressor and Task Force barrel are the best choices for the PPSh-41 when it comes to these areas. Moving on, the Tiger Team Spotlight and Spetsnaz PKM Stock increase ADS and sprint-to-fire time, respectively. This makes the PPSh-41 a much more agile option in Warzone firefights.

Finally, the last attachment is the 55 Rnd Drum to ensure players don’t run out of bullets in a pinch. This PPSh-4 loadout will serve players well as Season 5 winds down in Warzone.
