With the looming nerf to the CR-56 AMAX in Call of Duty: Warzone, players are looking for a potential replacement in Season 3. As Raven Software made it clear that the AMAX will be nerfed, other weapons are now being thrust into the spotlight. This largely includes the RAM-7 assault rifle; a long underrated weapon that may not be in the shadows for much longer.
While some players are testing out the XM4, Krig 6 or sticking with the FFAR, others are looking at the RAM-7 as a possible new meta weapon. However, the gun’s best loadout is a bit of a mystery, as it hasn’t been a popular weapon for some time.
Best RAM-7 loadout in Warzone
The RAM-7, like many of the other assault rifles in Warzone, is fairly balanced across the board. Its stats won’t blow anyone away but it can be a serviceable weapon in Season 3. However, an advantage of the RAM-7 is that it can be used in any situation.
Featuring a fast fire rate and predictable recoil, the RAM-7 can be a viable option at all ranges. The recommended loadout for the RAM-7 utilizes this strength to make it a medium and long-range beast.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: FSS Ranger
- Optic: Corp Combat Holo Sight
- Ammunition: 50 round mags
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
While it’s not wise to challenge an SMG with this loadout, players will be able to take down any enemy beyond close-range. The recoil of the RAM-7 is reduced entirely with the FSS Ranger and Ranger Foregrip. The FSS Ranger also increases damage range and bullet velocity.
Enemies at long-range won’t stand a chance against the Corp Combat Holo Sight paired with the 50 Round Mags. Players can keep firing accurately without reloading often, as well as stay off the map with the Monolithic Suppressor.
Whenever the CR-56 AMAX is nerfed, this RAM-7 loadout could find a permanent spot in the Warzone meta.
