WePlay Esports announced a $100,000 Rocket League invitational for EMEA and North America, with eight teams per region competing. The event takes place Sept. 16 through Sept. 19.

As the offseason continues, WePlay Esports bridges the gap to the Rocket League Championship Series Season 11, with a Psyonix-supported tournament. The tournament features most of the top teams from North America and Europe, but Saudi team Sandrock Gaming, who are not allowed to play in the RLCS, have also been invited.

“We have no intention to stop developing: we continue to explore and discover new titles and areas of work,” Luchianenco said. “Rocket League has made waves among the esports community. I am sure that the WePlay Esports Invitational Featuring Rocket League will pleasantly surprise the fans of the game with what our team has in store for the event.”
