In recent weeks, players have begun welcoming the aliens to the Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 7 island. From placing welcome signs to alien communication devices, Epic Games is making sure the aliens feel comfortable on the map. This is being furthered in Week 5 with the placing of welcome gifts for one of the Legendary Quests.
Players need to place the welcome gifts, clearly meant for the aliens, at the newest Fortnite POI, Holly Hatchery. This replaced Holly Hedges with the v17.10 hotfix and added a large pink shield around most of the buildings. While the welcome gifts have a blue outline that guides players where to place them, it’s easier to know exactly where to look.

To complete this challenge, players need to interact with just two of the gifts in Holly Hatchery. There are seven gifts in total spread across the POI, so players can pick which two they want to visit. If players decide to drop at Holly Hatchery to start a match, we recommend finding two welcome gifts that are close together and not near too many enemies.
Luckily, most of the welcome gifts are just a few steps away from one another, so it shouldn’t take much walking to place both gifts. Below, players can see the locations of all seven welcome gifts in Holly Hatchery.
Like in previous weeks, players simply need to walk up to one of the transparent blue outlines, hold the interact button when prompted and move onto the next gift. Once the player places both of the welcome gifts, the challenge will be complete. The challenge rewards 30,000 XP toward the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass.
The Week 5 Epic and Legendary Quests will release on Thursday, July 8 in Fortnite.
